Epic CIC and Kensington and Chelsea College can offer you information, advice and guidance to support you onto the right course for you or advise you on an apprenticeship or employment.  Kensington and Chelsea College has Level 1 courses for those who do not have any qualifications. After a year on a Level 1 course you can move to Level 2 and then Level 3. For example, you may choose to study Multimedia and then move through the levels starting with no qualifications until you are able to go to university or get a job.  If you have qualifications you can join at Level 2 or Level 3. The College also offers English and maths as part of a full-time course for 16-18 year olds so that you can improve your skills and take Functional Skills or GCSE exams.

Meet the team

Zeena Gordon

My name is Zeena and I am the Lead NEET and Careers Adviser at EPIC CIC.  And I am based in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea (RBKC).

The Careers team work with young people aged 13 - 25* ( LDD / SEND) in the borough to provide expert, independent and impartial Careers Information, Advice and Guidance.  We support young people to reach their education, employment and training goals and aspiration.

The team offers 1:1 and group work careers guidance sessionss at EPIC youth centres, community and educational settings.  Session range from:

  • Winning CV and covering letter writing - effective job searching techniques
  • Completing applications for apprenticeships, college, university and work - interview preparation
  • Looking at your options for GCSE, A-Levels, BTEC, apprenticeships and technical qualification

All team members are qualified in Advice and Guidance.  With a worth of experience gained from working in secondary schools; academies; alternative provisions; colleges; youth services; social care and services.

Cherise Rhoden

Hi my name is Cherise and I am a Careers Advisor for Epic CIC.  As a Careers Advisor I take pride in being able to support local young people through their journey of education, employment and training. There are many options to consider and explore, and I recommend using our free drop-in service or booking an appointment with myself or one of my colleagues.  We can support you with guidance and information for your education and career needs.

Tanika Edmund

Hi my name is Tanika and I am a Careers Advisor at EPIC CIC. Part of my role includes managing large caseload of young people who are looking for education, employment and training opportunities. I also work as a Team Leader at The Golbourne Centre. Here we coordinate projects and activities for young people aged 13 - 25 yrs including Dance, Yoga, Boxing and Arts and Crafts amongst others.

Sandeep Kurrie

I am Sandeep, a Careers Advisor for Epic CIC, working in Kensington & Chelsea. I provide support and advice to 13 - 25 year olds in finding work, training, getting into college and other related issues. At Epic we offer a wide variety of projects aimed at supporting you to fulfil your potential in both your personal and professional life, as well as helping to make a contribution to society.
