Arts Opportunities for 13- 19 year olds (up to 25 with SEND)

Creative Waves Rehearsals & Workshops 

This is a closed group activity aimed at those young people who have committed to performing at Epic’s ‘Creative Waves’ event in March.

The sessions are designed to work with the young people on their performances and ensure that they are well prepared mentally for performing on stage in front of their families, friends and peers.

Arts Award Programme 

This is a 4 day Arts programme giving young people the chance to get in touch with their inner creative, work alongside a professional artist and gain a qualification! What is an ‘Arts Award’?…Arts Awards is a Level 1 nationally recognised qualification that is recognised and highly regarded by Schools, Colleges and Universities and so can help when applying for colleges or university. All participants must go to school in the RBKC.

Golborne Open Access Youth Club

Golborne Youth Club is a safe, welcoming and fun environment for young people of all backgrounds and abilities to share their experiences and take part in programmes and activities that promote personal and social development. Spend your evening learning new skills! We have loads of exciting and FREE activities running from 6.45pm to 9.45pm. Get involved with: 

  • Music Production 
  • Boxercise, Football & Table Tennis
  • DJ workshops
  • T shirt printing
  • Life skills sessions including Cooking
  • PS4 and Fifa 2018
  • Arts and Crafts...And much more!

Golborne Access Project (GAP Night)

GAP Night is a safe, welcoming and fun environment for young people who have Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) to share their experiences and take part in programmes and activities that promote personal and social development. Activities include:

Disability Sports & Arts for 7- 25 year olds 

We have a range of sports and arts activities for children and young people with disabilities and additional needs. The programmes provide excitement and challenges, with activities adapted to the needs of the group. We have loads of exciting activities running from 10 to 3pm with a £5 per day fee.

Canalside Centre Fun

Fun and engaging outdoor activities include kayaking, canoeing, gym, camp craft skills and DofE section awards.
