London Youth Games 2020 

Kensington & Chelsea and Epic Sport are recruiting for young athletes to represent the Royal Borough at the 2020 London Youth Games- Europe's largest youth sporting event. With 32 London Boroughs competing against each other in up to 40 different sporting events, the London Youth Games is like mini Olympics for young Londoners!

Last year RBKC entered 30 different events across 25 sports.

They achieved 18 medals across 8 of these sports.

We are always on the lookout for talented young athletes to join our squads. If you are interested in representing the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea in any of the below sports please complete the registration form here.

London Youth Games Boccia Results

This week London Youth Games hosted the 2nd Boccia qualifiers at Westway in which RBKC was involved. We took a squad of 3 to represent the borough and compete against all of the other boroughs present on the day. We played in a total of 5 games in which we won 2 games and lost 3.

Cross Country Event 2019 LYG Season

On 17th November the Epic Sports staff took a record breaking team of 62 athletes to Parliament Hill (Hampstead Health) to represent the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea in Cross Country.

Cross Country is the first event of the 2019 London Youth Games Calendar and this year all 32 London Boroughs took part. Over 1,300 young people competed for the top spots on the day!

The Race categories for both the boys and girls events were Under 11, Under 13, Under 15 and Under 17. Kensington and Chelsea fielded teams in every section and it paid off. Our under 15 girls team finished in 3rd place, earning themselves a bronze medal. Overall the complete girls Cross Country team finished in 8th place and the boys in 20th (combined results from each category).

2018 Round Up

The passion and team spirit that was witnessed at this years games was unprecedented! This camaraderie helped to secure the borough with 12 top 12 finishes and 13 individual and team medals including 3 gold medals!

Well done to all the young athletes that represented the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea in the 2018 games for the 2nd smallest borough in London we have done extremely well this season so well done to all who took part.
