Our balanced and varied half term programme of activities has a focus on children’s and young people's health and well-being. Below you will find a list of fun, exciting and challenging activities:

Half Term Fun for Youth at Golborne Centre

About

An exciting programme with daytime and evening activities including a cooking programme, gym and fitness, music production, arts and crafts, karaoke, boxercise, t-shirt designing and much more.  Day trips will also include a visit to Thorpe Park and Ultimate Frisbee in the Park.

Activity

Support with Careers, Information, Advice and Guidance

About

Our CEIAG service can support with CV writing, completing application forms, mock interview preparation, apprenticeship and job search as well as choosing a course and applying to college or university. We also offer support for young parents (Break 4U project) and a mentoring project (ESF CALM) which supports 16-24 year olds who are not in education, employment or training (NEET).

Free, our sites are open access which means that children are free to come and go as they choose. For safeguarding purposes we ask that children register on arrival and de - register when leaving.

Outdoor Fun at Canalside Centre

About

Join us at our purpose built outdoor activity centre this half term and get introduced to

canoeing, kayaking, climbing and cooking. (All sessions are staffed by qualified coaches).

About

Adventurous and fun outdoor activities delivered from our Kayaking Centre on the River Thames including kayaking and canoeing.

All activities are drop in style sessions, so no bookings are necessary. Activites are also subject to change at short notice due to weather and river conditions. All participants are required to be able to swim at least 10 metres.
