A safe space to be yourself. S.A.G.E. (Sexuality And Gender Equality) is a youth group for young people aged 13-19 (up to 25 for young people with a disability) who identify as LGBTQ+. It’s a safe space make friends with like minded people, learn about LGBT history and, most importantly, have fun!

S.A.G.E offers a range of activities including trips, cooking, DVD nights, social action and charity projects, issue based work and attending London Pride.

Interested?  If so here are the 3 easy steps to join...

Step 1: get in touch (either yourself or via a youth worker/ teacher/ parent) by emailing Lee Ritchie ([email protected]).

Step 2:  meet with a friendly LGBTQ worker to chat about the group and your specific needs (the reason for this is to make sure that you and the group are safe and that the group remains for LGBTQ+ young people only).

Step 3: sign a membership form and join the group!


Please note: This group is specifically for lesbian, gay, bi- sexual, transgender young people, or those with a different gender identity to what they were assigned at birth. This group is not for heterosexual young people.
