A safe space to be yourself.S.A.G.E. (Sexuality And Gender Equality) is a youth group for young people aged 13-19 (up to 25 for young people with a disability) who identify as LGBTQ. It’s a safe space make friends, discuss hot topics and learn about YOUR communities’ history and rights.

This project provides meetups for young people who identify as LGBTQ to relax, make friends and discuss hot topics. We run a range of activities including trips, cooking, games, DVD nights, issue based work and attending Pride.

How to join in 3 steps:

Step 1: get in touch (either yourself or via a youth worker/ teacher/ parent)

Step 2: meet with a friendly LGBTQ worker to chat about the group and your specific needs/ ideas (the reason for this is to make sure that you and the group are safe).

Step 3: sign a membership form and join the group!

Please note, this group is specifically for lesbian, gay, bi- sexual, transgender young people, or those with a different gender identity to what they were assigned at birth. This group is not for heterosexual young people.
