A big part of that is having fun and being healthy too! So, we’ve packed our Summer 2018 programme with a fantastic choice of activities to help you make the most of yourself and your summer days.

Epic Outdoors Learning and Activities

Kayaking London Youth and Canalside Centre are both running activity holiday projects, delivering Kayaking on the River Thames at Kayaking London and Kayaking, Climbing and Adventure Activities at Canalside Centre. Activities are available for 9-19, are run by qualified staff and are fun and adventurous. Limited space available for 9-12. Please note that activities can and do change due to weather, tide and group abilities. Participants must have a signed Epic participation form and meet 10m swimming ability.

Dates: 23rd July - 24th August

Age range: 9 to 19 years (25 for young people with LLDD)
Times: 11am-1pm & 2pm-4pm

Summer in Chelsea

A range of innovative and exciting activities for children and young people, 13- 19 years old and up to 25 for young people with LLDD.

Please note: Activities are available to children and young people if they live or attend school in Kensington and Chelsea

Our CIAG service can help you with:

We also have drop-in sessions to offer support with housing issues, a project for teenage parents (called Break4U) and a mentoring project (ESF CALM) which supports 16-24 year olds who are not in education, employment or training (NEET).

  • Inter centre activities
  • Sports competitions
  • Special Events
  • Quiet area
  • Board games
  • Cooking
  • Computers
  • Use of Wii Console
  • Table tennis

  • With a special focus on arts, crafts and sports

Little Wormwood Scrubs Adventure Playground Summer Play Activities

Little Wormwood Scrubs Adventure Playground is an ‘Open Access’ site, this means that children are free to come and go as they choose. For safeguarding purposes, we ask that children register on arrival and de-register when leaving. The activities range from:

  • Adventurous play - big swing and tango swing
  • Outdoor sports/games on the field
  • Outdoor table tennis
  • Off-site activities
  • Special events
  • Face Painting
  • Inter centre activities
  • Arts and crafts
  • Quiet areas
  • Board games
  • Use of Wii Console
  • Dance
  • With a special focus on den building, bug hunts, berry picking and other outdoor nature activities.
